Gangotri and Yamunotri Do Dham Package

Hindus have a particularly special place in their hearts for Gangotri Dham, which is situated in the Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand at a height of around 3,100 metres (approximately) on the Himalayan range. It is one of the four revered and significant pilgrimage sites of Uttarakhand's Chota Char Dham Yatra. What distinguishes Gangotri as one of the holiest destinations is its close relationship with the River Ganga, which stands out among all the natural beauty and grace that the mountains and height of the location provide (the Ganges).

Hindus hold Ganga Maa (mother), a highly adored divinity, to be the creation of the Gangotri glacier at Gaumukh, some 18 kilometres from Gangotri town. According to legend, Goddess Ganga arrived on earth to atone for the misdeeds of King Bhagirathi's ancestors. From ancient myths to the present, the Ganga River has served as a revered wellspring of humanity's purity. It is not simply a religious obligation but also a spiritual calling to travel to Gangotri for religious purposes.

Yatra Itinerary

Day 01: From Delhi to reach Haridwar

Road trip to Haridwar with a stop for lunch. In Haridwar, check into your accommodation after arriving. You have the day to yourself to discover the city. Har-Ki-Pauri hosts the Ganga-Aarti. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.

Day 02: From Haridwar route towards Uttarkashi

Following a leisurely breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi. one of the world's most breathtaking valleys. Checks in for supper and a night's stay when arriving.

Day 03: Uttarkashi to Gangotri then back to Uttarkashi

Leave for Gangotri after breakfast, and once there, take a holy bath in the Ganges, which is also known as Bhagirathi at its source. After that, perform Pooja and take some time to unwind in the gorgeous surroundings. To relax in the afternoon sun and take in some of the stunning views of the lovely valley, return to the hotel. Perform the Ganga Aarti on the resort's private riverbank in the evening. Dinner and a night's rest.

Day 04: From Uttarkashi to Haridwar

Leave for Uttarkashi after an early breakfast, stopping for tea or coffee and lunch in Chamba. The remainder of the day will be free. Stay the night and eat dinner in Haridwar.

Day 05: From Haridwar to Delhi Railway Station / Airport.

You will be taken to New Delhi after a leisurely breakfast. Tour is over.
